Approach

A custom home is not a stock plan with your finishes. It's a building designed in response to your land, your light, your routines, and what you actually do at home — not what builders assume people do.

We start by asking those questions before we ever talk about square footage. Where does morning light hit? Who lives here in five years? The drawings come after the answers.

Whole-home remodels
that actually finish.

Full renovations of homes where the location is right but the layout, systems, or finishes have aged out. Common in Fayetteville's historic neighborhoods, established Rogers, and older Bella Vista.

Investment
$200k — $800k
Timeline
6 — 12 months

Best For
Right house, wrong layout
Whole-home renovation — Northwest Arkansas
Full Reset Walls to finishes
Who This Is For

The best remodel candidates aren't the prettiest houses on the block — they're the ugly ducklings on the best streets. A great location with a tired house is a hidden gem most buyers overlook.

We specialize in the full reset: walls moved, mechanical systems replaced, finishes redone end-to-end. The result is a home that lives like new construction in a neighborhood you'd never otherwise get into.

Scope — Everything but the foundation. Sometimes that too.
Layout reconfiguration — walls moved, openings added, rooms redefined
Full mechanical, electrical, plumbing replacement when needed
HVAC system upgrade or replacement
Window and door replacement
Kitchen and bath demolition and rebuild
Flooring throughout
New millwork, cabinetry, and trim
Exterior refresh — siding, roofing, paint where indicated
Permitting and engineering coordination
Honest Note

Sometimes a whole-home remodel costs more than tearing down and rebuilding. We'll tell you when that's the case, even though it means a different kind of project for us. The goal is the right answer for your home, not the contract that's easiest for us to win.

Major home addition — Northwest Arkansas
Seamless Addition Indistinguishable from original
Service · 03

Major additions
without leaving home.

Master suites, second stories, in-law additions, expanded living. The room your family actually needs, integrated so it looks like it was always there.

Investment
$80k — $300k+
Timeline
3 — 8 months

Best Outcomes
Looks original
Types of Additions
  • Master Suite Addition Primary bedroom, bath, closet on a new footprint
  • Second-Story Addition Adding floor area up rather than out
  • In-Law Suite or ADU Independent living for parents or guests
  • Kitchen Expansion Bumping the back wall to gain real workspace
  • Sunroom or Four-Season Connecting indoor living to outdoor space
The Hard Part — Making the new part disappear

The biggest tell of a bad addition is when you can see the seam — rooflines that don't quite match, siding that's a little off, floor levels different by half an inch. The whole thing reads as added on.

Good additions disappear. The roof line continues like it always did. The floors match. The trim profile picks up where the old house leaves off. From the street, no one knows it wasn't always there. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.

Permitting — We handle the city work

Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, and smaller NWA municipalities each have their own permitting timelines and quirks. We've worked with all of them and handle the entire approval process — drawings, submittals, inspections, sign-offs. You don't talk to the city. We do.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free estimates?
We offer a free Discovery Call and Site Visit to assess your project and give rough cost ranges. The formal Design & Estimate phase — which produces drawings and a fixed-cost contract number — is a paid engagement. You own everything produced in it, regardless of whether you build with us.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Beauty4Ashes holds Arkansas Contractor License #57422 and carries full liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage on all projects.
How long does a typical project take?
Additions typically run 3–8 months. Whole-home remodels run 6–12 months. Custom homes run 10–18 months depending on size and complexity. Timeline is fixed at contract signing — we don't give estimates and then revise them.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We manage all permits and coordinate with local inspectors across Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, and surrounding NWA municipalities. You don't talk to the city. We do.
Can you work with my architect or designer?
Yes. We collaborate seamlessly with architects, interior designers, and engineers. We can also coordinate architectural design in-house for clients who don't have an existing team. Either way works.
What areas do you serve?
We build exclusively in Northwest Arkansas — Bentonville, Rogers, Bella Vista, Fayetteville, Springdale, Centerton, and surrounding communities. We don't chase projects outside the region; we know the NWA market, inspectors, and subcontractors too well to give that up.
